I am not sure if you can use a la mode in the description of the bowl. A la mode refers to something with ice cream. For example, Apple pie a la mode, or apple pie with ice cream. Here you have glass bowl a la mode.
Oh, dearest Sir or Madam,
I fear perhaps I have not made myself clear.
The ice cream is itself to be eaten à la mode, that is, with a side of ice cream! What could be better than ice cream, but more ice cream?! Getting, ice cream with a side of ice cream! Mmmm...
I got it, Ryan! I always say, "it takes pun to know pun."
I love my ice cream a la mode. I also like roast beef au jus with the pan drippings and I like my chili con carne with beans!
:-P
(um, is it just me or is this bowl of ice cream making a frowney face?)
regards.
Oh, I get it now. Hahahahaha. More ice cream please!
Well, Luce, if I were a bowl of ice cream about to be eaten, I'd make a frowney face too.
Frowny, frowny, don't be downy. All we need is a big ol' clowny.
I just made that up!!
Lol.
